Two-legged wingless dragons, much like lizards stood up on their hind legs. Ex: Tribal Dragon, Cyborg Dragon, Tiger Dragon. The Earth Body: Long, slender, wingless four-legged dragons with fierce expressions. Ex: Reindeer Dragon, Dust Dragon, Meteor Dragon, Meteorite Dragon. The Lava Body: Like the Mud Body, but skinnier with longer legs and necks. Ex: Elemental Dragon, Rastafari Dragon, Cloud Dragon. The Mud Body: Thick bodied, short legged, slow dragons with mostly uninterested expressions.
Venom Dragon subverts this by having arms. The Wind Body: Long, serpentine bodies that remain in a curl, even in a state of defeat. Ex: Seed Dragon, Smoke Dragon, Honey Dragon. The Fire Body: dragons with the Fire Dragon body. The lack of variation is so noticeable I can easily go over the body types: It doesn't help that unlike Dragon City, they only have three stages as opposed to four. You really can't imagine them to be very big. The Dragon designs there simply look like they took the same body type and slapped the features together. It's easy to remember what every stage looks like.īut then there's Dragon Mania. Otherwise, you can really buy their size, speed, and personality. Only a few are recolors, such as the hybrids Flaming Rock and Cool Fire. You can tell a true design team went into each one. In Dragon City, the dragons are all kinds of shapes and sizes. One thing I noticed when I switched is the dragons in Dragon Mania really aren't as unique as the Dragon City ones. Chances of finding the shards greatly vary player to player, but even if you don't find one, you can find extra food, gold, scrolls, even gems sometimes.
Getting all of them will not only change time, but awaken a huge mountaintop Dragon named Chronos. You also get a subplot where you must explore locations in your islands to find special shards.

Their names escape me, but they include a blond female, a weak Viking apprentice, and an old man who teaches dragons. He even has his own dragon!ĭragon Mania, on the other hand, has three. But we'll just call the latter Dragon Mania for short. Also, Crabfeeder's death is slightly different in the novels, with Daemon actually beheading the prince instead of him being cut in two. The only main differences compared to House of the Dragon is the Triarchy were on a downward trend compared to Daemon, with their armies experiencing several heavy defeats in the interim. In the books, Crabfeeder's arc is broadly the same: he commands the Triarchy's armies, rules the Stepstones (though in the books it's for around a decade), and is eventually defeated by Daemon. He drags the prince's bisected body across the beach, signalling victory and an end to the War of the Stepstones. In the ensuing battle, Daemon and Corlys get the upper hand and Daemon kills Crabfeeder off-screen. Upon hearing the news, Daemon flies off into a rage and instead concocts his own plan: with the Valeryon family at his side, he pretends to surrender and uses Laenor's dragon Seasmoke to scorch the battlefield. Back in King's Landing, news has reached Viserys that Daemon is on the brink of defeat, which forces the king to send some reinforcements for his younger brother. So Corlys seeks a new ally in the wayward Prince Daemon (Matt Smith), which is influenced partly by Viserys’ refusal to marry his daughter.Įpisode 3 picks things up a few years later, with Daemon and Corlys battling the Crabfeeder's forces. The Sea Snake wants to challenge Drahar’s clasp for power, but his complaints are largely ignored by King Viserys (Paddy Considine) who does not want to go to war.īy episode 2, which is set six months later, things are getting worse in the Stepstones. But, as Corlys points out in episode 1, Drahar has begun to enforce enormously high tolls for those using the route, heavily impacting House Velaryon.
